Super Petrel Line Maintenance Event June 3 - 4 2022

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Super Petrel USA will be conducting “Line Maintenance” training at the Ormond Beach facility (KOMN) Hangar 24 beginning at 8:30 AM Friday June 3rd and Saturday June 4th.

This is a great event for all Super Petrel LS owners to learn important maintenance information about their aircraft.

At Super Petrel USA we continually strive to make our customers’ experience more enjoyable with education.

Morning snacks and lunch will be provided on premise. The complete two-day training course fee is $300.00 USD. Everyone completing the course will receive a certificate of course completion good for two years. Lead Instructors will be Mark “Ziggy” Ziegler and Roger Helton (host).

The Super Petrel LS, like other Light Sport Aircraft, are required to provide aircraft owners and aircraft maintainers a detailed Aircraft Maintenance and Inspection Procedure manual. This is in accordance with ASTM standard F2483-18.

The latest and most current version of the Scoda Aeronautica Aircraft Maintenance Manual is available here:

This is Line Maintenance training only for the Scoda Aeronautica produced Super Petrel LS. This training is not for the Light Sport Repairman certificate issued by the FAA. It is aircraft specific training and will provide hands on experience in Line Maintenance.

Seating is limited to 30 persons so, please register as soon as possible. The course is open to owners, maintainers and anyone wanting more detailed information on the Super Petrel LS.
