Super Petrel USA Tri-Fecta Event (October 25 – 28, 2023) – Wednesday October 25 –  Day 1

Super Petrel USA along with Wings of Gold Aviation, is again hosting our annual pilot safety and maintenance training event.

“Ice-Breaker” beginning at  (6:00 PM)

About this Event: The training will focus primarily on the 100 hour (annual) Line Maintenance compliance inspection for the Super Petrel LS aircraft. The Maintenance Manual is located on the Scoda Aeronautica website. Section 12-5. (see link below) Please review prior to training.

The cost per person for the training event is $400.00 and can be paid by credit card, check or cash at the
beginning of class on Thursday, October 26, 2023.

NOTE: This Event is FREE for Qualified FAA LSRM and A&P aircraft maintainers.

Lunch will be served each day at the hangar.

Super Petrel USA Tri-Fecta Event (October 25 – 28, 2023) – Thursday October 26 –  Day 2

Super Petrel USA along with Wings of Gold Aviation, is again hosting our annual pilot safety and maintenance training event.

Classes begins at 8:30 AM and continues till 4:00 PM

The first day session will focus on Airmanship and Flight Safety presented by Bill Gortney. Flying in the Wire Environment will be presented by Neil Tomlinson of Tomlinson Aviation. Aviation Risk Management will be presented by Dan Pedersen our Chief Demonstration Pilot. The Super Petrel LS refresher training will be presented by Roger Helton.

The afternoon maintenance session will be presented by Mark Ziegler (Ziggy) our Chief of Maintenance and lead Customer Support expert with the focus on what maintenance owners may perform on their own aircraft.  https://tomlinsonaviationinc.com .

Bill (Shortney), Mark (Ziggy) and Dan (Danno) are all retired US Navy FA-18 pilots. The best of the best.

Super Petrel USA along with Wings of Gold Aviation, is again hosting our annual pilot safety and maintenance training event.

Class begins 8:30 AM and continues till 4:30 PM

Mark Ziegler will focus on the 100 hour Compliance Inspection check list and cover special interest items to include Rudder Stop Repair, Seat Attachment Repair, Propeller Balancing, Engine Oil and Filter change, Engine and Wing Torquing, Landing Gear inspection and Gas Spring testing, Wheel Bearings replacement, and many more items.

The Rotax Line Maintenance Manual checklist will be discussed as it is part of the inspection process. The Rotax new Line Maintenance manual can be located at the following address.

The day will conclude with an in-depth behind the scenes look at Scoda Aeronautica and the production of the XP aircraft.
