Super Petrel USA 6th Annual Tri-Fecta Maintenance Training Event November 4, 2026

This is the event that all the owners and mechanics wait for every year. Super Petrel USA (SPUSA) is pleased to announce the 6th Annual Tri-Fecta Maintenance Training Event November 4, 2026, at our facility at Ormond Beach Airport (KOMN).

This hands-on training event is designed for Super Petrel owners, pilots, prospective owners, and maintenance professionals who want to expand their knowledge of the Super Petrel LS and XP aircraft.

The training will be led by:

• Dan “Danno” Pedersen – Chief Pilot
• Mark “Ziggy” Ziegler – Maintenance Director and Chief Flight Instructor
• Todd Wean – Director of Customer Services
• Rodrigo Scoda – President and Owner of Scoda Aeronautica, Brazil

The course will begin with a pilot safety briefing presented by Dan Pedersen, focusing on Best Learned Practices, operational safety, and risk management.

Mark Ziegler and Todd Wean will then discuss what aircraft owners can legally perform on their own aircraft, along with recommended maintenance practices and procedures.

Course Schedule

Day One
Pilot safety, best practices, risk management, owner maintenance, and general aircraft maintenance procedures.

Day Two
The primary focus will be on the annual inspection and maintenance procedures for the Super Petrel LS.

Day Three
The training will focus on maintenance procedures, systems, and inspection requirements for the Super Petrel XP.

The instructional portion of the course is designed to be completed in approximately 2½ days. Additional activities and demonstrations will take place throughout the event.

Lunch will be provided each day.

Participants will also receive information regarding recommended accommodations and local transportation.

Course Fee: $400 per person

LSR-M and A&P Mechanics: Complimentary registration

Super Petrel XP Demonstration Flight

Experience the Super Petrel XP firsthand with an approximately 30-minute demonstration flight.

XP Demo Flight: $100
