This is N405XP, the first Super Petrel XP delivered in the United States. Located here in Ormond Beach, Florida, N405XP is arguably one of the most anticipated Super Petrels ever built.
For more than two years, N405XP has proudly served as the demonstration aircraft for Super Petrel USA, introducing countless pilots to the remarkable performance, handling, and capabilities of the XP. The aircraft currently has only 158 hours total time.
Since N405XP first arrived in the United States, numerous improvements and upgrades have been incorporated into this original XP by our team here in the USA and by the Scoda Aeronautica factory team. As the XP has continued to evolve, Scoda Aeronautica is now producing the Super Petrel XP PLUS, featuring the Rotax 916iS engine and a second Garmin G3X display.
Because N405XP was one of the original XP aircraft, those particular factory changes cannot be incorporated into this aircraft. However, N405XP remains an exceptionally well-equipped and proven Super Petrel XP, with more than two years of demonstration flying providing an opportunity to refine and improve the aircraft along the way.
Perhaps most importantly, N405XP is now available at a price below its original 2024 purchase price.
